Jordan Davis, PA-C
Jordan Michael Davis, PA-C, is a physician assistant with Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, where he supports the Division of Hematology and Oncology in the multidisciplinary care of patients with blood disorders and cancer. He is a co-author of a 2023 case report in the Journal of Blood Medicine describing CNS-centric therapeutic management and genomic profiling for a rare presentation of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma arising in the cranial vault—work completed with colleagues across Hematology/Oncology, Pathology, and Radiology at Mayo Clinic Florida. He has also been published in the Journal of Laboratory Medicine for a 2015 case report detailing the diagnostic approach to leukemia using morphological and flow cytometric analysis in a newly diagnosed acute lymphoblastic leukemia in a 1-year-old male, work completed in his previous role as a medical laboratory scientist. These publications reflect his commitment to advancing patient care through collaboration and scholarly activity. Candido E. Rivera, M.D.
Dr. Candido E. Rivera, M.D., is a hematologist, internist, and oncologist affiliated with the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Trevanne R. Matthews Hew, M.B.B.S., is a Consultant in the Division of Hematology and Oncology and Assistant Professor in Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. She is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology and brings over fifteen years of experience in patient care and academic medicine. Dr. Matthews Hew earned her medical degree from the University of the West Indies, where she also completed a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and zoology. She went on to complete her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Florida. At Mayo Clinic, Dr. Matthews Hew’s clinical practice encompasses both solid tumors—including gynecologic, prostate, bladder, and other genitourinary malignancies—and non malignangt hematologic disorders. Her research focuses on genetic and environmental determinants of disease and on reducing health disparities in cancer outcomes. She was honored with the Robert A. Winn Diversity in Clinical Trials Career Development Award (2022–2024) for her leadership in promoting diversity and inclusion in clinical research. As an educator and mentor, she actively participates in the training of residents and fellows, reflecting Mayo Clinic’s commitment to advancing clinical excellence, innovation, and equity in health care.
Marwan E. Shaikh, M.D.
Dr. Marwan E. Shaikh, M.D., is a board‑certified hematologist/oncologist affiliated with the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. Born and raised in Jacksonville, he returned to his hometown to practice medicine after completing his advanced training.
Dr. Shaikh earned his medical degree from the University of Toledo, then pursued a transitional internship at the Summa Health System / Northeast Ohio Medical University. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Florida and subsequently undertook fellowship training in hematology/oncology at West Virginia University.
His clinical focus lies in benign hematology and myeloproliferative disorders, where he specializes in complex blood disorders such as bone marrow failure syndromes, hemolytic anemias, thrombophilia, and bleeding disorders. Dr. Shaikh is known for his skill in interpreting nuanced laboratory data in challenging clinical settings, and he frequently participates in quality improvement research initiatives.

Ewa M. Wysokinska, M.D.
Dr. Ewa M. Wysokinska, M.D., is a hematologist at Mayo Clinic Florida in Jacksonville, where she also serves as Associate Program Director for the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship. She sees patients with a broad spectrum of hematologic disorders, with particular expertise in thrombosis and hemostasis, myeloproliferative disorders, myelodysplastic syndromes, and coagulation abnormalities.
Dr. Wysokinska earned her medical degree from the University Medical School of Wroclaw in Poland in 2005. She completed her internal medicine internship and residency training at Akademicki Szpital Kliniczny and Abbott Northwestern Hospital, respectively. She then pursued a fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, completing it in 2013.
Throughout her career, Dr. Wysokinska has been actively involved in clinical service, teaching, and research. In recognition of her contributions, she was named Hematology Educator of the Year in 2025 by the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program. She is board certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology and is fluent in English and Polish.
